Sign Company, Inc. is accepting applications and résumés for a Graphic Designer position opening in our art department. We are looking for a highly creative and motivated person who will develop ads for electronic outdoor billboards, manage ad scheduling and design marketing materials across a variety of advertising mediums for Arrow Outdoor. The person will troubleshoot computer hardware and software relating to LED-based electronic message centers and occasionally train sign customers in the use of electronic message centers. The ideal candidate must have strong visual problem solving skills and be able to produce clean, effective designs with quality handling of type, color and graphics. The candidate must be proficient with Adobe Photoshop software and must also be proficient with Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW vector graphics software. Experience in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash and Adobe Dreamweaver are a plus. Candidates should have 2 or more years of work experience in graphic design. A four year art degree is preferred but not required depending on applicant's level of experience and talent demonstrated in portfolio examples of work.
